    1. My download has dropped by half a megabit since this post.

      Apparently this is due to the 10 day testing regime where BT Wholesale progressively make your line shittier and shitter in “testing” to establish a really low baseline.

      If, after the 10 days, your line speed drops lower than this low shitty baseline score, then it is reported as a line fault. And they might do something about it.

      If, after the 10 days, your broadband is a little better than the shittiest score you get during the 10 days, then it is not a fault and you can pretty much suck it up.

      As you can imagine, downloading a 125 MB update for the PS3 was a little sickening. Currently trying to download a 15 GB update for DC Universe Online is …..well….. Really. Really. Trying.
