iBlogging

by Matt Johnston on January 6, 2009

image1767343407.jpgI was inspired by TheRonster to try out iBlogger after being faintly disappointed with the native WordPress application.

The results are pretty encouraging though I’m not 100% sure that I like the editor – aren’t I a fussy bugger?

Anyway – testing out a link and photo.

Aha – links are listed at the bottom unless you hard code them and photos are at the top, again, unless hard-coded. Not bad. Will give it a go on the road tomorrow during Open Coffee.

Curious, I found that I prefered the native Wordpress app over iBlogger in the brief time I tried it.

I was annoyed by things like being able to only attach one photo for instance, and the lack of control over where the photo went.

I am curious to try out the 1.2 beta version of the Wordpress app, but not downloaded it yet.

I seldom attach more than one photo but the positioning was nice. The Wordpress app was really buggy and provided zero control over the positioning as far as I recall.
